Sports First Aid

It is important to have a well-stocked first aid kit in your coach’s office or on the practice floor at all times. It can provide care for more serious injuries and, when necessary, provide relief during a mass casualty incident. With knowledge of the signs and symptoms, parents too can be prepared.

In addition to being able to treat an athlete’s injury without the assistance of a doctor or nurse, first aid kits will also be able to treat sports-related injuries and illnesses and be able to ease pain or lessen the effects of injury until medical assistance arrives.
